Canal and River Trust (CRT) want to “manage” the number of boats cruising London’s waterways.

They are exploring “innovative” ways to reduce the number of boats without a home mooring cruising the capital’s waterways, which CRT defines as running from Rickmansworth and Brentford in the west, through Central London, to Limehouse, Hertford and Bishop’s Stortford in the east.

CRT’s boat cull plans could decimate the London boating community, destroying the livelihoods of many, including families and key workers.
